Helical preformado Armor rods
1. Our preformed armour rods are expertly designed to shield wires from detrimental vibrations, clamp pressure, abrasive friction, electric arcs, and a multitude of external threats. Even in less severe vibration scenarios, they excel at protecting wires over short spans from electric arcs and friction damage. These remarkable rods can also restore the original mechanical strength and electrical resistance of damaged wires. Moreover, they effectively protect branch lines, preventing arc and friction damage at cable branch points. 2. Featuring streamlined designs, both preformed and short preformed armour rods use the inherent grip force of each formed ATC wire to deliver unparalleled protection. Consideration 1. Should the outermost aluminum layer of ACSR conductors show fractures in less than 25% of its lines, short preformed armour rods can fully restore mechanical and electrical performance.
2. In instances where the outermost aluminum layer of ACSR and aluminum wires experience fractures in 25%-50% of their lines, our preformed armour rods are the ideal solution to restore complete mechanical and electrical integrity.
